Mission and Objectives

The mandate of AWHL is based on a mission which is “to generate sustainable income for the continuous improvement of NA personnel’s welfare”.  While pursuing this goal, the outfit is expected to achieve the following objectives.

1. Generate sustainable income streams from the assets of the NA for continuous improvement of the welfare of its personnel.

2. Enhance the capital value of NA assets.

3. Improve control of NA assets and create a structure that would ensure sustenance and improvement of NA welfare ventures.
         
4. Minimize the effect of welfare schemes on NA ORBAT and free more personnel for their primary roles.

5. Should provide a source of capital appreciation.

6. Reduce overhead costs of existing schemes through synergy.

7. Allow for professional private sector management thereby providing training opportunities best practices and enhancing management ability of officers.

8. Ensure continuity in management and board appointments.
